Minnesota State Capitol | Historic Preservation + Restoration

It was an incredible honor to assist in the restoration of the Minnesota State Capitol. We took great care in rehabilitating, from start to finish, bronze railings and various metalwork historic to the property. Some of the railings required new base shoes, some architectural metal elements needed several pieces restored, and some details needed to be completely rebuilt from scratch. The unique blacksmithing and metalworking tools within our shop, our stellar team, and our on-site welding and metal fabrication abilities were essential. Everything needed to be finished to look seamless and original - like the pieces were there from day one. To say we loved the challenge would be an understatement.
